For The Loveliest Of Them All...

There is little known about Eachna. Her name means “horse” or “stallion,” and it is said she was a daughter of one of the kings of Connacht. She was said to be the loveliest and cleverest woman in the world.

The trinity knot, however, has a very long history. It can be dated back all the way to the fifth century; however, most historians are unsure of its meaning so they determine what it could have meant through its usages.

It has also been referred to as the endless knot and mystic knot. Most Celtic knots were made with no beginning or end, and this was a way of symbolizing the spirit in nature.

Many people refer to the trinity knot as the Triquetra, which means “three-cornered.” The most common interpretations of the knot transgress over the Pagan and Christian histories. One interpretation is that of mind, body, and spirit while the other is that of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.

Today the symbol lives on, and people across the globe use its three sides to represent many sides of themselves, nature, and the rest of the world.

We bought these rings for our May 1, 2010 wedding and was extremely happy with them! My husband wanted yellow gold and I wanted white gold! They arrived just as they said they would and within the 2 week time frame. There isn't one thing we would change about them, we will cherish them forever!
